![]() Selecting the location for your VSOnline account automatically selects that region for all of the services that are available in that region. Application Insights (which is still in preview) is not yet available in Europe but will in the timeframe that we reach GA. However, your source, work items, builds, etc all will only exist in the selected region.Īs of right now, the services available in the West European region include – Source code control (both TFVC and Git), Work item tracking/project management, Team Rooms, Build automation, Test case management and load testing. There is some data that is not limited to the region, our directory of accounts, user directory information and some diagnostic and operational data are examples of things that are “global data” and not restricted only to the selected region. When you locate an account in a region, all of the “account data” is limited to that region and does not leave. This is something we expect to begin addressing sometime next year. You can enter data in any language you wish but the UI for VS Online is currently English only. We will ask most people to wait just a bit longer.Īlthough we have our first instance in a non-US, non-English speaking region, we do not yet support a localized experience for VS Online. We do have a way to do it manually in an absolute emergency and you can contact support if you are in dire need but because it’s a manual process today, we can’t move very many. Enabling this is the next thing on our list but is likely to take a few months. There is currently no way to move an existing account from one region to another. You can go to the account settings to verify which region your account is in. This is something we may change in the future. If you want projects in different regions, for now, you have to have them in separate accounts. Let’s dig into some of the nitty gritty questions that you are likely to want to ask…Īn entire account is bound to a region – you can’t have some data in one region and other data in another. It’s that easy and now you have an account in Europe! You can also choose your region using the VS Online account creation flows in the Azure portal or the Azure preview portal. The account creation page will auto detect the data center that’s nearest to you or you can click the “change options” link to override the choice. You can get started today by going to and creating a new account. Whatever your reason, Europe is now an option for you. For others it’s about reduced latency to access the service. I’ve been getting requests for over a year to provide the ability to host data in different regions – for some it’s about the comfort of having their data on “home soil”. This is a big step and is the first of many more to come in making VS Online a truly global service. And why not? The rest of your skin needs toner just as much as your face does.Today we opened up our shiny, new VS Online instance in the Azure “West Europe” region, which is located in the Netherlands. One is specifically designed as a body toner (these Japanese cosmetic firms think of everything). One is for the face which I use for my body. And to my moisturizing rituals since 12 years old.īelow are the two that I have been switching up. I got this beauty tip from a girl at the Image beauty store in Alhambra, CA. ![]() ![]() Every Day! These toners will give you major catch up. ![]() If you want stripper-soft skin, you must religiously apply lotion all over the body right after a shower. (My) Uses include: after-sun care spray, toner for my body before moisturizer, moisturizer alone for super hot and humid days. And while those aloe lotions and potions are ok, these facial/body mists from the Japanese cosmetic stores kick it up a notch. In the nasty aftermath of my various sunburns, I used to grab for the OTC aloe lotions and such. So I am a sucker for stupid expensive base and top coat that implies it will make any nail polish last like it’s gel.Ĭontinue reading “They built me up…butter cup – butter LONDON Patent-Gel Nail Top & Tails Set” Economics have taught me that in conditions of uncertainty, price signals quality. The other day I was at Ricky’s and found the butter LONDON base & top coat set (for goddamn $40!) I forked out the dough anyway. I have been forced to pick at it til it strips off a micro-millimeter layer of keratin on my nail. And that’s another topic for a bitch fest, since gel nails always peel at the edges but impossible to get rid of once it’s a jagged little circle of color in the middle of your damn nail. I have oily nail beds that fail to hold any color for more than a couple of days, even gel nails that have been cured with UV. It’s about the only beauty area that I can have wiggle room at work, considering the Japanese investment banking culture. To be on trend with summer, I have been into painting my nails some pretty random bright colors lately.
